No matter what the occasion, candy has always been the perfect compliment. Over the years it has broadened the spectrum of what it can cater to and has even made its way into the world of sports. Now, you can enjoy your favourite candies at sports events or as the sports themselves. Here are the Top 10 Sports Themed Candies that take us back to these fun times.

10. Milk Chocolate Sports Balls: A classic candy commonly found in loot bags, piƱatas, and halloween candy.

9. Sports Candy Bracelets: Now you can play sports AND eat candy at the same time. Thank heavens for evolution, am I right?!
8. Dubble Bubble *Big Slugger: Knock one out of the park with Big Slugger! Just make sure you take all the gum balls out - trust me, I had to learn the hard way.
7. Iguanas: This candy comes with a pro helmet for your pet hamster... or iguana!
6. Giga Bites *Sweet Spin Yo-Yo (Super Mario Galaxy theme): Hey, yo yo-ing is totally a sport, even though it doesn't really require much physical activity - technically neither does golf so case closed.
5. Kidsmania *F1 Racer: Zoom Zoom Zoom! Build a racetrack out of these candies and take your sweet wheels for a spin. Then supe up your wheels with some spinners, a turbo charger nas boost, some hydraulics, and show the people at hot wheels that sweet is where it's at.
4. Sucker Punch: 2 of these = hours of fun.
3. Dubble Bubble *Slam Dunk: not many candies give you the satisfaction of sweet deliciousness while also giving you the thrill of playing a game... at the same time!
2. Cracker Jack: Baseball has been known to be America's pastime, and Cracker Jack has been there for fans to enjoy in the stands ever since Babe Ruth was hitting homers.
1. Big League Chew: Want to feel like you're in the big leagues? This bubble gum makes you feel like a pro without leaving the taste of chewing tobacco in your mouth :p

Fun Size Conspiracy

Say what???????
There are not many things I will let Glen Beck take any type of significant credit for in terms of improving the sate of logic, reason or, really, the world. But then again he did say this:
"Whoever thought a tiny candy bar should be called fun size was a moron;" and it's with great reluctance that I have to agree with him.
The worst part of it all is that most people would undoubtedly agree as well, but, and oh happy day, therein lies the silver lining of it all: the more people believing that more candy = a genuinely better life and world, the sweeter everything can be.
But in reality, I could care less about posting positive Beckisms. What I'd like to hear is your outrageous quotes about candy. Make 'em funny, make 'em bawdy, make 'em whatever you want!
You send them, we post them!

If Life Gives You Lemons, Run a Lemonade Stand

Kylie’s Story
Kylie – 4 is an Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) survivor. She was diagnosed with ALL in April of 2012 and it has been a long, hard journey filled with many emotions and testing times since then. Even to this day her parents are still faced with new challenges, as Kylie’s mother shares:
“Chris and I face the new challenge of not allowing the anxiety and fear of a relapse to consume us. We want to cherish the good times we are blessed with and enjoy Cameron and Kylie.”
Kylie began a 30 month treatment process when she was diagnosed, which would include intensive chemotherapy, 10 different drugs of varying dosages and intervals, spending lots of time in and out of hospitals – even her own 3rd birthday, as well as the emotional roller-coaster that her and her family would face. But luckily it would be that Kylie was surrounded by so much love and support that it would bring people together in such a way where even strangers, communities, even the nurses became as close as some of the families that surrounded her. It seems that the support that Kylie and her family received was integral to their healing process.
What's Next?
Now that the treatment is over, the question arises as to what happens next. Although Kylie’s chemo has concluded, the journey continues as she will require close monitoring to ensure there is no cause for concern of the cancer returning.
But on a more positive note, Kylie shows no signs of fear and is ready to get on with living her life to the fullest. For example next Wednesday, August 13, 2014, Kylie will be running her own lemonade stand outside of Candy Funhouse! It has always been a desire close to this brave girl’s heart to run her own lemonade stand and donate the money to charity, and we at Candy Funhouse would love nothing more than to support this inspiring child’s dream. One thing is for sure; if there’s anything I’ve learned from Kylie’s story is that if life gives you lemons, put on a lemonade stand.
